Please list your favourite SuperCar and explain why!

If you have more than one then list them all in the order of preference.

Right now for me I really like the "ZENVO ST-1", it's just different to a lot of things and also puts out over 1,100HP :-)

A REAL man's Car eh? I have to say the Diablo is probably my favourite Lamborghini.

Your SV does look very nice indeed!, easily the best one I have seen.

SV is good but hard work to drive, you have to keep your eye on the road, sometimes i forget how wide the SV is. The 964t its easy to drive, easy to get in and out and is my favourite supercar ,saying that wish i kept my NSX!

I imagine the Diablo will be sensitive to road surfaces?

My Aston with it's revised steering setup and Geometry picks up every little defect in the surface.

Cambers, Trench fill-ins, etc all try to pull it offline a little.

A car that tops my list is the RUF CTR, a few years old now, circa 1987, but was able to do over 210mph. Have a look at the following Youtube link of the most famous CTR nicknamed the Yellowbird on the Nurburgring.

Edit...This site seems to block the link, just copy and paste, or search Youtube for RUF CTR

Link works here for both me and my Son!!
Anyone else have trouble with the link?

Old School would have to be a Lancia Stratos, because they had such an impression on me whilst growing up, the noise ,the looks, awesome car.

Modern, but not right up to date would be a 2003 Porsche 996 gt2, not a supercar to some but hopefully an attainable dream at some point.

I was thinking earlier today about this question...

and growing up in my Teens, there were 3 cars (4 if you counted Magnums Ferrari) that were synonymous with the term Supercar!

Lamborghini Countache
Ferrari Testarossa
Porsche 911 Turbo

I bet if you stopped anyone in the streets during the 80's and asked them to name a Supercar, those 3 names would come out at the top (not forgetting Magnums Ferrari).

Speaking of Magnum's Ferrari. I was once told that the TV company contacted Porsche first, but they said no, so it was then they asked Ferrari. Big mistake Porsche. I have to add, I was told this story, I have no proof, it may be an urban myth. it's funny to think, some of the younger forum users will be thinking, Magnum who?
