I'm going to try and implement an image auto resizer, so it can all be done server side., this will stop large images bleeding over the edges, and hopefully have them all perfectly fit. (don't hold me to this.. I did say try) |

(don't hold me to this.. I did say try) Is that caused by the post sitting inside a larger border? I have a secondary external border around the forum proper?? Or is this something else? |

Well... not every one has the same screen sizes or resolutions etc,, so I set the forum width so that it should view ok for almost everybody. So for those with widescreen monitors or high resolutions you will get a border. The downside to this is that large attachments such as the photo's above will bleed off the edge. Not setting the forum width would allow the images to stretch the forum so you'd have to scroll sideways to read other posts within the thread, that is if the image were larger than the persons screen resolution. It's a bit catch 22, which I hope an image resizer will fix. I'll start a poll running soon to determine what the minimum screen size/resolution is used by people viewing the forum. I can get it form logs and stats, but random one visit persons can throw the stats off. Easier to simply ask those who come here the most |
